Still A Jittery Market 01/27/2012
Yesterday just goes to show that the markets, and their investors, are still very jittery. It does not take much to cause the sentiment to change, and in turn the indices. What is encouraging is that the reaction to minor news seems to bring a proportionate response by the markets. This is great in binary options because it makes things a little bit more predictable than they have been in the past. There may be some news out of Europe today on a deal to help reduce the debt burden on Greece, so that would be a big thing to watch. That situation still seems to be weighing on the markets more than anything else. Also, as we say yesterday, stocks were down on the surprisingly poor new home sales figures for December, so that could certainly carryover to today as well.
