Also, for a specific bit of information on today's likely indicators, the Commerce Department will be releasing a report on durable goods orders. There was certainly a bit more volatility than we have become accustomed to in recent months. It appears that, according to the Labor Department, the number of people filing for jobless benefits is at a four year low. Oil has been on the rise for months now and it shows in the gas prices that we are paying. Apple on the other hand is just in a different world. It has been a boon for both traditional, and binary options investors. It seems that with every new product, or bit of news, the stock price goes up. This has lead to Apple being the most valuable company, with a stock price over $600/share! There is news today about Apple as well. The company will soon begin paying dividends to its stock holders. This is new for them, but I would expect this to be another case where the value could rise. A move like this will make the company a more appealing place to invest money for a lot of people. This will drive prices even higher. That is, for me, the easiest way to jump on a trend, and it is the easiest way to find a good signal. I do realize that many trading binary options will focus on individual stocks. I agree that it can be a great way to go. What I have found is that it is difficult to see day to day trends in any one stock. You would have a hard time profiting off of on stock everyday. The only way to consistently be successful with individual companies is to be open to any one of them. Particularly the Dow. I do this for a couple of reasons, but mainly because for me it is the most predictable lately. For quite a few months now the Dow has been on a fairly steady march in the positive direction. Some  binary options investors may wonder if or when this will stop. Obviously the Dow was down yesterday, but only be a small percentage and it remained up substantially for the week. It seems to be human nature to expect a "correction" to happen soon. Obviously this could happen anytime, but I think it is going to take something big in the economy to make it happen. There are one touch options and things of that nature that can come into play over the weekend, but today is the last day of the week to trade the hourly binary options that are the bread and butter for most of us. I don't have much in the way of indicators or signals this morning. There is the fact that the iPad 3 has had very strong sales and Apple is in record setting territory. The nice trend upward of the markets will likely continue today, unless there is unexpected negative news in the economic world. It has been a good year so far and now the Dow looks to be securely over 13000 for the foreseeable future. For me, the only lingering thing that could change things in a hurry is the cost of gasoline.
